The theme is open - anything goes. It's time to post that special pic you've taken in the last few months.
Photos must be submitted by replying to this post. Only ONE photo per entrant please.
In order to level the technical and quality playing fields entries should be limited in size to a maximum of 600 pixels along the largest dimension. This will make most photos look sharper.
If anyone is unsure how to do this I can help with advice or alternatively, if submitted oversize, I will resize and re-post any oversize pics.
Please remember that we'll all be judging on the general appeal and interest of the pictures, not the technical merit.
A poll will be taken starting on the 1st of next month to decide the winner.
Photos should be captioned with some info about what, where and when.
Only entries should be posted - no comments from viewers. Other posts will be deleted.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE USE PHOTOBUCKET.COM TO SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOS. IT SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY RELIABLE PHOTO HOSTING SITE. (Use the IMG option to paste your pic into your post)
Good luck everyone! _________________ http://www.mistyduck.co.uk |

Spring is now here and the pheasants in the garden are awaking from a dormant winter state of eat and sleep! This male is the more pathetic of two we get in the garden but still puts on a decent show strutting around the garden and failing to attract the females, rather, he scares them off!

As I have not taken anything much since my return here's another picture from my Goan holiday last month.
Plum Headed Parakeet. Normally very skittish, I couldn't believe my luck when two males and a female came down to the bushes to feed, close to were I was standing. Each time I approached they moved along to another bush further down the path, but they let me get closer each time. The adrenaline was pumping as the final picture was only about 12 feet away !

A stonechat, taken today on South Stack. Just before a RAF whirlybird decided to practise hovering over me. My camo must be good the winchman didnt see me for the best part of 10 minutes

A pair of Mute Swans in their mating dance taken at the Glaslyn Osprey Visitor Centre over the Easter weekend. So gracefull to watch.
